Dan Potter
CEO/President
Dan Potter is the founder of bluewater and keeps the company at the forefront of technological innovation, environmental commitment and entrepreneurial leadership. Dan previously created North America's third largest video rental chain, Video Update, which he built from a single store into a public company with over 650 locations and $250 million in annual revenue. He started bluewater with the recognition that environmentally responsible septic, wastewater and trenchless technologies were under-utilized in the U.S. market. Through his own explorations in cutting-edge technology, he has gone on to make bluewater a leader in trenchless technology for potable and steam piping systems. Dan received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota and holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from William Mitchell College of Law.
