BLUEWATER WINS AWARD FOR NU FLOW JOB OF THE YEAR
March 04, 2010
SAN DIEGO, CA, March 4, 2010 – Nu Flow, the world’s leading inside infrastructure corporation, announced today that they awarded bluewater, a Nu Flow licensee, with their “Job of the Year” in both the drain and potable categories. Bluewater was selected by fellow licensees at the annual Nu Flow licensee meeting in Louisville, Kentucky. Job complexity, size and performance were all taken into consideration when selecting the best candidate to receive the awards.
“The awards given out at the annual licensee meetings are a chance for Nu Flow to recognize licensees for their hard work and success with our pipe rehabilitation products. We commend jobs that are completed under unique circumstances and with little or no downtime to customers,” said Cameron Manners, Nu Flow President and CEO.
The scope of work completed by bluewater for their first award included rehabilitating a 15-year- old cast iron drain line at Foxwoods Casino and Resort, North America’s largest casino, using Nu Flow’s patented pull-in-place process. The lining job was completed without downtime to the 24-hour operations of the kitchen. The second award received by bluewater was for a potable job that was completed with Nu Flow’s patented epoxy coating solution at the University of New Hampshire. The 4” copper piping system was experiencing pinhole leaks. These leaks in the hot water lines resulted in 17 thousand gallons of water leaching into the ground daily. Bluewater made the necessary repairs and lined the system to prevent leaks and corrosion from re-occurring.
